Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, also referred to as Ashanti was born on October 13 on the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. Ashanti is an United States singer, songwriter and actor. Ashanti started her career as a teenager, then was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. The first single from Ashanti, Foolish the song by DeBarge's Me that was recorded in 1983 is sung. Ashanti's self-titled first album was made available in 2002 via Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. record label. The Declaration was her fourth studio album, came out in June 2008. Hey Baby, After the Club (released via the radio and on digital) dropped on the 16th of October on the 16th of October, 2008.
